I'm Mark. I coach men who feel stuck.
I'm a personal growth coach in London, Ontario, working with people in person and online across Canada.
For 23 years I've done one thing in a lot of different forms: helping people make confident decisions about things that intimidate them.
Most of that has been as an IT service provider, charged with continual growth, relationship growth and service delivery standards for organizations in community services and 24/7 health services, sectors where technology has to just work, securely and reliably. My clients don't keep me around because I know servers. They keep me around because I listen first, explain in plain language and take ownership of outcomes.
Now I'm taking that same approach into coaching. After two decades of watching what actually blocks people, I've learned the obstacle is rarely the technology. It's follow-through, confidence and clarity. I coach on those because I've had to work on all three myself.

My training
Where I am in the process.
I'm training with iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching) toward my Certified Professional Coach (CPC) certification. The program is built on Energy Leadership and the Core Energy Coaching process.
I've completed Coaching Fundamentals and I'm continuing through the program. Practice coaching and mentor coaching are part of it, so I'm being coached and observed as I coach. I'm working with clients now, and I'll always be straight with you about my credentials.

- I'm not here to hand you a plan. I'll help you work out what you actually want to do, then hold you to it.

- You'll get honest observations, said kindly. If I see you dodging something, I'll say so.
- No judgement
- Whatever you bring, you won't shock me. Most of what feels shameful turns out to be very human.
- Not therapy
- Coaching looks forward. If you need clinical support, I'll tell you and help you find it.

I meet clients in person in London, Ontario and the surrounding area, including Middlesex County. I also coach by video with people anywhere in Canada.
