How I handle your information.

Short version: I collect only what you send me, I use it to reply, and I don't sell it.

What I collect

The details you give me when you email me or book a discovery call: your name, email address and anything you write in the booking questions or in your message. The website itself doesn't use cookies, advertising or analytics tools.

Why

To reply to you and arrange a call. That's all. I don't send marketing emails. If that ever changes, I'll ask for your consent first, every message will say who it's from, and every message will have an unsubscribe link. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing connect@markbird.coach.

Who handles it

Only me, plus the companies whose services run this website: Cloudflare hosts the site and, like any host, sees standard connection details such as your IP address. Microsoft provides my email and the booking page. The pages load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when the page opens. These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. I don't sell or rent your information.

How long I keep it

As long as it's needed for the purpose you shared it for. Ask me to delete it and I will.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you. Email connect@markbird.coach.

Please keep it light

Don't put health or other sensitive details in an email or booking form. We can talk about what you're comfortable sharing when we speak.
